Some love stories are shaped by time, distance, and unwavering commitment and Jordan and Charles’ story is a beautiful reflection of all three. After seven years together, countless memories, and a journey that included military deployments, long distance, and multiple moves, they chose Savannah, Georgia as the place to say I do—a city that had already captured their hearts years before.
Jordan and Charles met as freshmen in college, never knowing just how much life they would experience together. With Charles serving as an Army officer and Jordan teaching 5th grade, their relationship grew through seasons of change, including a year of long distance while Charles was deployed to South Korea.
When Jordan later moved to Georgia while Charles was stationed at Fort Stewart, the two spent two unforgettable years living in the Savannah area. It quickly became more than just a place they lived, it became their city. With family ties in nearby Bluffton and countless meaningful memories woven throughout the Lowcountry, Savannah felt like the perfect place to begin their next chapter.
Charles proposed on the beach at Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island in a moment that was both intimate and deeply personal. After surprising Jordan with dinner at one of their favorite spots, the Quarterdeck, he popped the question with the ocean as their backdrop.
To continue celebrating this season, Jordan and Charles chose Bethesda Academy for their engagement photos a location that would later hold even more significance on their wedding day. The historic grounds, oak-lined paths, and waterfront views perfectly reflected the timeless, romantic style Jordan envisioned.
Their wedding day was thoughtfully planned with a romantic palette of soft whites, sage greens, and subtle gold accents, classic, elegant, and effortlessly Southern.
The ceremony took place at Whitefield Chapel, a setting that felt both sacred and intimate as Jordan and Charles exchanged vows surrounded by family and loved ones. Family was incredibly important to Jordan, and the day was intentionally designed to allow for meaningful time and portraits with those closest to them.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the iconic Perry Lane Hotel for a stunning Savannah reception. With sweeping views of the city and refined details throughout, the celebration felt joyful, elevated, and full of life, an unforgettable evening honoring not only a wedding day, but a love built over years.
What made Jordan and Charles’ wedding especially beautiful wasn’t just the locations or details, it was the emotion behind it all. From heartfelt family moments to quiet, candid interactions between the two of them, their day was filled with genuine connection.
Savannah provided the perfect backdrop to capture it all: historic architecture, coastal charm, and timeless Southern beauty woven seamlessly into their story.
Jordan and Charles’ wedding day was a reminder of why Savannah is such a special place to get married and why photographing love stories like theirs is such an honor.
